This is the first I’ve tried an emulsion and I loved it. I like that it’s an aging care step that is a good sensory experience as opposed to anti aging that is sometimes harsh. Will repurchase.

I have been using Hada Labo for a few years now, and the Goku-jyun Alpha Milk is my holy grail. I have terribly sensitive, dry, eczema prone skin and Hada Labo is one of the very few brands that will work with my skin.

I found the American one to be decent, but lacking in moisture. Goku-jyun is my favorite line.

And I'm not sure why that other review says you need the lotion to go along with the Milk, that's not true at all. I started out using the lotion and the milk together, but the lotion got put on backorder when I was running low so I could only use the Milk for a few weeks and I did not notice any difference in my skin whatsoever so I completely stopped using the Lotion because I felt it was a waste of money.

I use this with sunscreen, and makeup on top and it blends beautifully.

I could see this maybe not working if you have oily skin, then you should probably go with the Goku-jyun Light Lotion only, (white bottle) not the Alpha Milk.

I cannot go a day without this stuff. The texture is thin but slightly creamy, light but highly moisturizing. It really does help to plump out my creases and lines in my forehead, around my eyes and my dry neck. I pat it in immediately after my evening shower, again before bed and first thing in the morning after a splash of water. I am in my mid thirties and do not get any pore clogging or irritation from this. Over time, my skin tone looks more even and my skin remains comfortable throughout the day.
