i have a pretty oily scalp, it’s not crazy but by day 2 i need to wash it and this helps me elongate my wash and just does a good job at cleaning, AND it smells amazing

This shampoo smells so good, a nice fruity floral without being too strong. It also is a good balance of moisturizing but light, which is great for my dry and thin hair. My hair and scalp especially feel so clean after using this!

I was having issues where the shampoos I had been using were causing my forehead to break out (I have super sensitive skin) and my hair just kept getting greasy by 5 pm (I do shampoo and condition every day but I have never had issues with greasiness before). I tried several different products and brands and nothing was really working.

I saw this particular product on Tik Tok in one of their videos explaining top Japanese hair care products and was a bit interested in it. I was initially on the fence about trying it due to the price and not being familiar with Kiyoko Beauty.

After a couple months of not finding any solutions, I decided to try this shampoo out because at that point it's not like anything could get worse. Well, it was definitely the best decision I ever made!

I don't read/research ingredients as much as I probably should given I have super sensitive skin, but the ingredients in this shampoo haven't caused any breakouts or reactions. I no longer have greasy hair at the end of the day either.

The shampoo is light-weight and has a refreshing light scent. It definitely makes your hair feel clean and doesn't have a lot of build up like I've experienced with other shampoos before.

The price may seem high, but it's worth it due to effectively it cleans your hair/scalp and how long it lasts. I have waist-length hair that I wash every single day (I do focus mostly on my scalp but I also use other products in my hair, so every so often I will shampoo all of my hair to get everything clean). I received it at the beginning of September and have over a quarter of the bottle left.

I will also say that I enjoyed the nice email from Gillian thanking me for my order (it may have been an automatic thing, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless). I also find their website easy to use and the explanations of the product categories is just 10/10.

I only write reviews after using a whole bottle of product and I can say I really enjoyed this shampoo. It's able to clean my very VERY oily scalp while not stripping it of moisture. It's actually pretty soothing to the scalp. I will say, I do have to use this in tandem with a dandruff shampoo as there's nothing in this one that is specifically for dandruff. It's a fantastic basic shampoo otherwise. I did use this with it's corresponding conditioner as well.

i have afro textured hair adding this to my wash day routine made my hair feel even more hydrated my scalp has been clear as well it maintains well until my next wash day
