Kiyoko's Notes

Kikumasamune Sake Brewing Skin Care Lotion is a hydrating Japanese watery lotion with sake, suitable for all skin types.

The moisture-replenishing toner features Kikumasamune’s kojic acid-rich dry sake (Japanese rice liquor) to naturally hydrate, soothe, and brighten the skin. Its slightly acidic formula contains a blend of amino acids and vitamin derivatives to further boost skin’s moisture levels and clarity.

Love it

I use this almost every day along with Unicharm Silent Uruuru Sponge Facial Cotton as a sheet mask. It is so hydrating for my dry skin.
I also bought the emulsion and cream. I love them as well. I will continue to order products from this brand.

Skin has changed remarkably.

I heard a lot about lotions, but didn’t have time to do my research. I have combination skin, have tried many different products and luxury skincare brands which I thought products that is more expensive, the better, believed it will give me Goddess skin one day if I continued using them, and stayed away from inexpensive ones.

I breakout easily + constantly from stress or things/food that touch my face, which was normal for me.

After researching I decided on this one and bought all 3 of them to test which one will work better for my skin.

Currently using the pink one, and just the first couple of days my skin was noticeably getting better drastically. My acne were shrinking and BAM, GONE, in such a short time.

I get breakouts weekly mainly pressing my face on my dog (which I do on a the daily, bruh he’s adorbs, can’t resist.), and even during PMS I would get real bad breakouts… BUT my skin is still clear with no breakouts at all.

I use it AM and PM, still my same skincare routine, only change was I use the lotion after toner, but I’ve been skipping toner on some days.

Also got the emulsion and use it after essence. I only need little of both, I gentle whack on the pump for little droplets on my finger tips and it covers my whole face. Also using it on my body too.

Its already been a couple weeks, and I worry less about break outs now, my skin is clear, hydrated, soft. My skin has never looked better.

That concludes my experience and review of this Lotion.
Definitely recommend, give it a chance!!!

As described, to hydrate your skin and give it a bounce.

I heard about this product, did my research, and am very glad to add it to my daily routine. It is as hydrating and non sticky as everyone raves it to be. I have maturing skin, and the best way I can describe it is that it makes my skin feel "bouncy". I've been using it for around 3 months before writing this review to give a more accurate description. Great value for what you get, and very glad I got it off Kiyoko Beauty for a great price!

KIKUMASAMUNE FOR LIFE!!!!!

One word - HYDRATION. I've been using Kikumasamune products for more than a decade already and I can proudly say that this is the ONLY product that has remained consistent in my skincare stash - AKA it's the only product I haven't trashed after having finished it. I have repurchased time and again and am over the moon that all variants are available here on Kiyoko!!! In a sea of Korean toners, essences, etc., that basically are one and the same, Japanese lotions (The Western toner is called LOTION in Japan) are faaaaaaaar more superior than the Korean ones, in my opinion. I have bottles and bottles of Kikumasamune everywhere and anywhere I can stuff them in. Sake, the main ingredient, is basically fermented rice which is PACKED with Amino Acids which are so beneficial to the skin. If you're East Asian like me, then you know what I'm talking about, but if you're not, I'm telling you not to sleep on this product!!! It will change the way you define hydrated skin. So the phrase "RICE IS LIFE" is 200% true!!! :-) Depending on the variant you get, prepare to face a watery-milky formula that's a bit tacky for the first few seconds, then expect it to smell like a banana-bubblegumish the first 5 seconds it hits your face, then the familiar smell of sake lingers for a few seconds then disappears completely. It's not funky smelling, but it needs some getting used to. I've heard some people getting turned off by the product because of the initial smell, but I would gladly forgo that to reap it's benefits! :-)
