How to use

Apply a grape size amount of Curél Intensive Moisture Facial Cream to cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. Smooth cream over your face, working from the inside to the outside in long strokes.

What is Double Moisturizing?

Millions of Japanese women use a pre-moisturizing liquid (called Emulsion in Japan) as a first step before applying their cream moisturizer — it instantly hydrates to calm dry, sensitive skin, relieves tightness and prepares the skin to absorb and retain moisture. This 2-step routine helps to repair the skin‘s natural protective barrier by locking in essential hydration.

Curél Moisture Facial Lotion is applied to cleansed, dry skin and then followed by Curél Moisture Facial Milk or Curél Intensive Moisture Facial Cream for very dry, sensitive skin.

Awesome!!

I use this at night in the winter since it’s a bit thicker then my other moisturizers and it’s amazing. I especially love it after going snowboarding when my face is chapped from the cold. It makes my skin feel so great after.

Underrated

This stuff is amazing and a little goes a long way. I definitely used too much the first time and could feel it sitting on my skin. I started to decrease the amount I was using and will not look back. I have combo skin but oddly enough have dry patches on my T zone that are super obvious when I wear makeup. This (along with some other products) have changed the game. I honestly don't think I will ever shop at a Sephora or give into skincare trends on IG/TikTok ever again. Japanese/K-skincare is so underrated.

Thank you for your review - we are super glad to hear that you have converted to a Asian beauty fan! :)

Normal/Dry/Sensitive/31F

I truly love this cream! I bought the sample routine to help "reset" after disrupting my barrier with some over enthusiastic exfoliation. I had no real intention of continuing the products after the healing period/the products ran out because I honestly liked my moisturizer but this is so good I bought the full size after a week, along with Foaming Cleanser.

My skin is sensitive/dry and pretty reactive but I did not experience any flare ups (itching or redness). I will say my skin was sort of congested for the first few days, but I would attribute that more to taking a break from acids/adjustment period than the product itself because it didn't continue after that bit, and it wasn't uncomfortable or anything.

I don't usually leave long reviews, especially when most of the reviews up reflect my own experiences, but I wanted to comment about layering because it was hard to find info. I've found that adding an emollient before application helps decrease any "filmy" feeling of it just sitting on top. Because this product is quite occlusive, dry/damaged skin needs a little extra help with absorption. At night after cleansing I like to use a humectant toner (the Curel lotion is nice, but not required, there are plenty of similar toners with interesting boosts that do the same job if that's more your bag), followed by a thin layer of marula or grapeseed oil, and seal it with a pea-sized dollop of this cream. I wake up to soft fresh skin now! It's light enough for day wear alone, but I prefer the Curel Milk to layer under SPF.

This may not be the most "fun/trendy" skin care product ever, but it works, doesn't itch, and I don't have to worry about it interacting with the serums I already love and use. BONUS: it is actually affordable (at least compared to my other moisturizer from a certain Australian vegan botanical brand)! SO, yeah, as they say "holy grail status"
